PA PREPS takes a look at ten of the current "hottest" prospects in Pennsylvania's 2018 class. They are in alphabetical order. Where the ultimately end up is debatable, but there's no doubt they're among the best prospects not only in Pennsylvania, but in some cases, the region and country.

Simmons currently has offers from Penn State, Pitt, Rutgers, and West Virginia. We still feel that he is a little bit underrated on the regional and even national level but that shouldn’t stay that way for long.

When you’re only a sophomore and getting offers from the likes of Florida State, Michigan State, Pitt, etc….it’s obvious that you’re a special player. What’s scary is that we have not seen the best of Young on the offensive side of the football yet. Look for Young to emerge as one of the best playmakers on the offensive side of the ball as well as the defensive side.

Dotson is the hottest recruit in Pennsylvania and it’s not even close right now. Dotson currently holds offers from the likes of Alabama, Michigan, Notre dame, Temple, Penn State, Pitt, Georgia, Miami (FL), Virginia Tech and a few others.

Doyle currently holds offers from Pittsburgh. Temple, Toledo and West Virginia. Doyle will be throwing for multiple college coaches in the upcoming weeks and that should lead to a few more offers for the rising sophomore.

Raines has seen a tremendous uptick in his stock since the end of the 2015 season. Raines currently holds offers from Penn State, Pitt, West Virginia, Iowa State, and Temple.

Bauer currently holds offers from Penn State, Syracuse, and Virginia. Bauer is a very instinctive and physical linebacker who should see his offer-count go into the double-digits as he goes into his junior season. He’s already one of the best linebackers in the state regardless of class.

Parsons committed to Penn State in late February. However, you can bet that colleges will continue to check on Parsons to see how committed he really is over the next couple of years. Look for Parsons to make an impact on the offensive side of the ball for his high school team in the next two years as well. Remember, he's only in tenth grade, so he'll continue to mature as a football player. Parsons has the potential to be one of the best players in the country by the time he graduatees.

Jurkovec holds several offers that include: Ohio State, Michigan, Pitt, Penn State, and Notre Dame. Jurkovec was at Notre Dame last month for their Junior Day.

Anderson-Butts currently has offers from Penn State, Rutgers, West Virginia, Syracuse, and Temple. Despite his team having a tough season, Anderson-Butts was able to display his speed and playmaking ability on the field.

With offers from Notre Dame, Duke, Michigan, Pitt, Penn State, Maryland, Nebraska, Virginia Tech, and Temple, Kuntz is one of the hottest recruits in the nation. Kuntz still has time to fill out physically and to improve on all parts of his game.
